J is for Jersey Boat Show

We travelled to Jersey to exhibit the Garbage Guzzler at the Barclays Jersey Boat Show to showcase how it can help to reduce food waste. Our Garbage Guzzler fitted in perfectly with the event and we were able to showcase how it can help to reduce food waste, one of the aims Plastic Free Jersey are trying to accomplish, via a demonstration machine.

K is for Kit Heaven

Kit Heaven is Europe’s biggest kitchen equipment cleaning and commisioning centre. Its dedicated team work tirelessly to make sure every piece of kit is ready to feed millions of customers around the world. Each item of catering equipment undergoes a rigorous cleaning, maintenance, testing and inspection process before each hire.

L is for Lowe

Back in August we were acquired by Lowe Rental, a globally recognised leader in the supply of refrigeration, cold rooms and catering equipment. The acquisition supports Lowe’s plans for growth and adds a significant wealth of expertise in the catering space, complimenting Lowe’s considerable expertise in the supply of refrigeration.

M is for Myrtle

Myrtle is a small, beautiful resturant in Chelsea that is the dream of celebrity chef Anna Haugh. Rental+ helped Anna with an affordable and simple to budget catering equipment rental for Myrtle Restaurant, which allowed her to get up and running. The restaurant opened in May 2019 and has been an instant hit!

N is for Nigeria

We provided a modular kitchen and dining facility which was capable of providing more than 200 covers in a single sitting for a prestigious client in Nigeria to support the workers who were working at an oil and gas plant. The client required a high quality facility to provide 3 meals a day for the 500 workers.

O is for Outstanding Professionals

We worked with some of the industry’s top professionals to produce a series of blogs and videos to inspire, help and generate discussion in the events industry whilst looking at some of the issues and challenges each of our contributors thinks is important in events right now, and what they have done about it.

P is for Pub in the Park

We were delighted to work with Brand Events as they doubled the size of their Pub in the Park franchise this year to 8 events where we created a base kitchen package with Brand, which was then offered to all participating pubs! We supplied 80 kitchens and 900+ pieces of equipment that fed more than 115,000 people across the summer.

Q is for Quality Assurance

Before our temporary kitchens or catering equipment leave the building, they have to go through a number of specialist in-house facilities to ensure they are working and are clean. They undergo a rigorous cleaning, maintenance, testing and inspection process in Kit Heaven before each hire.

R is for RWM Show

In September, we exhibited the Garbage Guzzler at the RWM Exhibition which is the UK’s largest trade show for recycling and waste management. We had a very succesful few days and lots of insightful conversations showing businesses how they can reduce their food waste by up to 70% in 24 hours.
