Using our years of experience in kitchen design and build, we will guide you through the process of specifying the ideal kitchen for your requirements. We then provide detailed design proposals, including CAD and perspective illustrations if required, to ensure you are completely happy with your choice. Our sales process is fast, accurate and reliable.
Design, Planning and Specification
PKL’s in-house kitchen design team has been involved in the planning of thousands of commercial catering facilities, both temporary and permanent, across a wide range of end user sectors. Our design team are vastly experienced in creating bespoke solutions to meet clients’ exact requirements, and have designed a number of innovative solutions for complex projects over the years.
We provide CAD drawings, 3D rendering and illustration, depending on what is required. Typically, a construction drawing package will consist of design layouts, construction detail, electrical services, foundation plan, fire plan and incoming services.
An experienced project manager is assigned to each project and will oversee all aspects of the final design approval and construction. The project manager provides you with a single point of contact at PKL, and is responsible for ensuring that your facility is manufactured on time and to specification.
Where on-site construction services are required, the project manager will supervise the shipping and transportation arrangements, and carry out a pre-site survey to ensure everything is ready for a smooth delivery.
Engineering and Installation
All units and equipment are subjected to a 120 point quality assurance inspection by our qualified engineers before leaving PKL for delivery.
We provide site advisers during the installation process, to work alongside clients’ own construction teams and ensure the installation runs smoothly and to schedule. If required, we can also provide complete installation teams, including qualified catering engineers.
We offer bespoke solutions built to EU construction standards with ISO specifications for worldwide compliance. We are internationally accredited for our quality management, environmental management and health and safety management systems. Lighting, plumbing and electrical systems in our units comply with EU standards. In addition, we work to ensure that our facilities comply with all relevant standards applicable to the country in which they are deployed.
Our facilities can be transported by land, sea, air or rail, enabling fast and efficient delivery anywhere in the world. PKL Transworld options include ISO rated units, built to a standardised specification for global transportation, as well as stackable, flat-packed modules which can save on shipping costs.
