PKL Achieves New ISO 45001 Health and Safety Standard
We are delighted to announce that PKL has achieved ISO 45001 health and safety accreditation.
The new standard requires companies to work to a framework, that will help to improve employee safety, reduce workplace risks and create better and safer working conditions, all over the world.
The standard was developed by a committee of occupational health and safety experts. It is designed to be integrated into a company’s existing management processes and follows other high-level structure ISO management system standards, such as ISO 9001 (quality management) and ISO 14001 (environmental management). The Standard provides an international framework that takes into account the interaction between an organization and its business environment and has been developed under the ISO system, with the input of experts from more than 70 countries. ISO 45001 adopts a risk-based approach that ensures it is effective and undergoes continual improvement to meet an organization’s ever-changing context
The Framework takes into account other International Standards in this area such as OHSAS 18001, the International Labour Organization’s ILO-OSH Guidelines, various national standards and the ILO’s international labour standards and conventions.
We pride ourselves in setting the standard within our marketplace, and this latest accreditation illustrates further our commitment to providing the highest level of level of health and safety for the installation of temporary and permanent catering infrastructure.
