Next Generation of Plumbers Impress at College Event

The next generation of plumbing professionals had the opportunity to impress a delegation from PKL at the Stroud campus of South Gloucestershire and Stroud College on March 7.

The special event was held to mark National Apprenticeship Week and World Plumbing Day and featured the college’s plumbing students showing off their skills in a nerve-wracking competition of skill in front of judges, one of whom was PKL’s own Engineering Manager Dan Russell.

After watching two rounds of tough competition, Dan announced student, Lukas, as the overall winner and the young plumber received a collection of valuable equipment he will use in his career as a prize.

PKL’s Operations Director Chris Richards has invited the plumbing students and their teachers to our head office in Cheltenham for a tour in April, to give them an idea where they might go in their career.
