Sam Harper Passes Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Management
We are delighted to announce that Sam Harper, one of PKL’s Project Managers, has passed the NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Construction Site Management enabling him to receive his Management CSCS Black Card.
Sam is now trained and certified to be a knowledgeable, qualified, and confident construction site manager which will allow him to manage responsibilities effectively. Sam is now qualified to oversee larger projects and sites with the authority, accountability, and decision-making that comes with site management roles.
The course through CITB took 12 months to complete and involved six modules, two onsite assessment visits, with classroom tuition and workshops. The following topics were covered within the course:
- Introduction, NVQ induction and health and safety
- Leadership and management
- Communication and customer care
- Environment and sustainability
- Planning, programming and logistics
- Resource management (cost, cash and risk)
- On-site assessment
