Raising Money for Marie Curie with Lowe Rental
On Tuesday 4th February we took part in a joint-company cake sale with two of the Lowe Rental offices to raise money for Marie Curie, a charity that supports people living with terminal illness, and their families, offering expert care, guidance and support.
The day brought in an array of cakes and savoury treats such as a marzipan and apricot fresh cream cake to chilli sausage rolls and cheese twists.
In total, we raised an amazing £408 across PKL and the two Lowe offices.
On top of the cake sale, we were given the opportunity to enter into Business Beats Cancer Belfast raffle draw who are raising money for Cancer Research. With some very enticing prizes, members of PKL purchased 89 tickets in total meaning an extra £89 was raised to support this charity.
Overall around £500 was raised in one day to support two great charities.
