PKL Win Client of the Year Award!

PKL Group Winner of Client of the Year at the MMC Awards

We’re delighted to announce that we have won the Client of the Year award at the Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) Awards 2023, held in partnership with The Modular and Portable Building Association (MPBA).

Having been nominated for our Modular Café and Dining projects at Springwood High School and Northam Burrows Country Park, this award recognises the hard work put in by all team members at PKL, supporting these large-scale facilities all the way from concept to handover.

The MPBA were ecstatic about being the exclusive awards partner of the 2023 Modern Methods of Construction Awards. The awards coincided with the 85th anniversary of the association and presented a unique opportunity for companies that have developed the techniques of MMC over many years or are new to the approach.

Ed Lyons, PKL’s Commercial Director, commented: “It is an absolute honour to have been recognised with this award. It showcases the incredible amount of hard work put in by the team over the last few years, in developing and evolving our MMC foodservice facility offering. The offsite construction sector is setting new standards in construction, and PKL is thrilled to play a part in this”.

The award ceremony was held at Leonardo Royal Hotel London St Paul’s on Wednesday 10 May 2023. Technical Sales Manage George Otiboe and Projects & Technical Manager Tim Osborne went to the ceremony and collected the award.
