PKL Marks World’s Biggest Coffee Morning

We celebrated the Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in style on Friday 28th September with brownies and cupcakes to scotch eggs and samosas!

We came together for the big event with a “Pin the Cherry on the Cake” competition, a “Guess the Length of the Cake” competition and a mammoth collection of the finest cakes PKL’s budding Mary Berrys could produce.

The spread and competitions brought in an amazing £287 for the Macmillan charity, which supports those being treated for cancer and their families.

PKL Chief Executive Lee Vines said: “It is always brilliant to see the company come together to help a worthy charity like Macmillan and I’m delighted that we have raised the funds we have with today’s events. Thanks to our Social Committee for their hard work getting the event organised and all the budding bakers for their wonderfully tasty creations!”.
