PKL Shortlisted for NOEA Award

PKL’s Events team is on tenterhooks ahead of the NOEA Awards on November 22nd after being shortlisted for Supplier of the Year.

The awards will be held in Bath at the beautiful Guildhall and Pump Rooms, a fitting venue for one of the event industry’s most prestigious awards. Run by the NOEA, the leading trade association specialising in outdoor events, the awards are highly prized and notoriously tough to win.

The ceremony will take place on the same day as the Association’s annual convention, which will feature keynote speeches from top industry experts.

PKL are competing in the ‘Supplier of the Year’ category and have high hopes after a record-breaking year. The company supplied more events than ever before including major hires to more than 35 festivals and outdoor events over the summer months.

PKL’s hire fleet, of more than 600 temporary kitchens and 55,000 pieces of catering equipment, supported events with as many as 20 separate professional production kitchens at a single site at once. The company drew on its dedicated pool of engineers and project managers to ensure that delivery, installation, each event itself and collection went smoothly and easily throughout the year.

PKL Chief Executive Lee Vines said the NOEA Event was an important part of PKL’s year.

“We love to come along to this event to meet our industry peers and be inspired by the things they have achieved in the previous 12 months,” he said. “We all feel honoured and excited to have been shortlisted in this prestigious category and we’ll be keeping everything crossed on the night itself. Congratulations and good luck to all the shortlisted companies.”
