We are delighted to announce that PKL has been awarded a place on a new NHS SBS Framework which covers the sale of permanent modular kitchens, the rental of permanent and temporary modular kitchens and the contract hire of catering equipment.
PKL has been awarded a place on the framework following a competitive OJEU process where we have proved that we have the necessary insurance, policies and procedures in place to meet all statutory requirements including the applicable building regulations.
The lots that PKL has been listed on are as follows:
– Lot 9 – Modular Kitchens for Purchase
– Lot 10 – Modular Kitchens & Temporary Catering Equipment for Hire
– Lot 11 – Rental of Permanent Catering Equipment – Managed Service
The framework provides a compliant route to market, not only for organisations within the NHS, but across the whole public sector, and organisations can either source PKL’s services via a direct award, or via a mini competition framework.
NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) is a unique joint venture between the Department of Health and Sopra Steria founded in 2004.
The organisation is the UK’s leading provider of business support services to the NHS in England working with over a third of NHS Trusts, 100% of the NHS Commissioning organisations and NHS Provider organisations.
The new framework aims to compliment the speed of modular/ offsite construction by providing an equally quick, easy and compliant procurement route.
