The PX+ Festival is a unique event, created by hospitality professionals for hospitality professionals. It aims to create a positive, safe space for those who work serving others in hospitality to talk, share ideas, relax, discuss the problems facing their industry and work together to find solutions.
The 14-strong organising committee, led by Katie Bone, approached PKL during their initial planning and discussed the project with the sales team. PKL’s input, expertise and enthusiasm convinced the PX+ team to work with them for the festival.
Creating a detailed plan, PX+ were grateful for the advice they received during a site visit by a PKL Project Manager, helping them to hone their plans to allow them to feed the volume of people they needed in the space they had available.
Katie Bone said: “We were really lucky to be able to work with PKL, who shared our vision for what this inaugural festival could be.
PKL helped us create a fantastic, professional kitchen in the middle of a farm and delivered in every aspect, and we wouldn’t expect anything different from an organisation like PKL. We are delighted that our relationship is continuing into our second year.”
Jonny Bone, Ops Chef, PX+ Festival, said: “Working with PKL was brilliant because they were open and happy to engage – we presented them with problems and they provided us with the right solution, time and time again.”
