Barney Passes Voucher Win Forward After Giving PKL Feedback

Barney Thornton, Business Manager of The Croft Preparatory School, Stratford Upon Avon, won £250 vouchers after filling in a feedback form following a hire from PKL – and immediately passed on his win to his catering staff.

The Croft suffered a kitchen fire in June 2018, and called on PKL to supply a temporary kitchen following a devastating fire in their kitchen.

The temporary facility was installed and made operational in less than three weeks – and supported the school during the extensive renovations to the damaged kitchen and dining block.

The renovation was completed in October and the new kitchen and dining facility was officially opened in early November.

After the hire, Barney filled in a feedback form for PKL, outlining his experience of using PKL and sent back the form, not expecting to hear from PKL again.

So he got a pleasant surprise when he received a call telling him he had won £250 of vouchers. All customers who fill in a feedback form are put into a draw for vouchers every year, and Barney was the lucky winner for 2019!

Barney had no hesitation in using the vouchers to buy presents for the catering team at the Croft school, led by catering manager Serena Edwards.

“We were delighted in the service we received from PKL, and I’m delighted to win these vouchers!” said Barney. “I’m going to pass them directly onto the team, who went through so much after the fire. The great news is our new kitchen and refurbished dining room are doing brilliantly. Thanks PKL for helping us through the aftermath of the fire and for the vouchers!”.
