J is for Jollies…
Our Social Committee, helped by our HR team, have organised five special company events to bring employees together. These events are just part of why PKL is such a great company to work for!
K is for Kit Heaven and Kit World…
Kit Heaven is where we maintain and commission all our hire kit, it’s Europe’s biggest hire kit maintenance centre. Kit World is where our fast moving equipment lives while it waits to go out on hire and is tended to by a dedicated team. Find out more about the catering equipment preparation process here.
L is for Love To Give…
This year our social events have raised funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and the Starlight charity bringing in £683 for the two good causes. Well done guys! Find out here how we have raised this money through different events such as a Cake Sale and Tough Mudder.
M is for Mallards Pike…
We helped Pedalabikeaway to provide a brand new modular cafe on the banks of a lake at Mallards Pike in the Forest of Dean this summer, a beautiful building with wood cladding and a glass frontage to allow the cafe’s customers to bask in the stunning scenery. The cafe has been a roaring success, with record numbers of visitors stopping by the beauty spot for a coffee or a cake. Watch our case study here!
N is for New Units…
This year we have launched new units that give us more flexibility in the types of facility that we are able to provide to you. They will help us to improve the efficiency of our installs and take up less room with our kitchens
P is for Pub in the Park…
This summer, PKL helped Brand Events create four fantastic events with superchef Tom Kerridge. Pub in the Park visited Marlow, Bath, Tunbridge Wells and Knutsford during one of the most glorious summers in living memory. We provided 42 kitchens with more than 500 pieces of equipment over the four event extravaganza of food, music and drinking fun! Watch our case study here.
Q is for Quay…
The special area where we kit out all our temporary kitchens. With room for up to 9 temporary units at any one time, it gives our installation team the perfect platform to achieve amazing things through our busiest times.
R is for Refurb…
Our Refurb team take our temporary kitchens and make them like new! Using the tough steel superstructure of the kitchen, any unit can be completely rebuilt by this dedicated team.
