A is for Anniversary…
We celebrated our 30th Anniversary in October this year and we loved looking back over the last three decades and some of our most memorable projects such as the Olympic Games in Sydney, UN projects in Bosnia and manoeuvring 9 metre kitchens through Grade 1 Listed archways in Oxford! We finished off our celebrations with cake and a company photo! Find out more about these projects here.
B is for Budgets…
Our Finance Team are the bedrock of the company, working hard to ensure we are on a firm financial footing. Led by finance director Will Perry and managed day to day by Stela. Find out more about some of team PKL here.
C is for Catering Equipment Review Show…
This year we launched the Catering Equipment Review Show, a way to help our U-Select customers make the right decisions about the equipment they buy for their businesses. We outline the benefits of each piece of kit, what businesses would get the most out of using it and what knowledge they need before purchasing. Our first season has run to 28 episodes!
D is for Design…
Our in house Design team work with our customers to create a kitchen that meets their exact requirements. Karsten, Chris and jack are experts in CAD drawings, 3D internal and external renders and can even mock up how your kitchen will look on site!
E is for Education Links…
Earlier this year, we supplied a KitchenPod to an Alternative Provision Free School, Education Links. Since the school began, they have wanted to produce their own hot meals to improve both the experience and behaviour of the students. The KitchenPod allowed for a new, fresh and nutritious menu whilst instantly improving behaviour and allowing staff and students to build relationships through sharing a meal – have a watch of our video case study.
F is for Fleet…
The department that ensures everything is delivered and everything that is delivered is right. From whole temporary kitchens, to individual pieces of kit, the fleet team organise all our deliveries and collections and over the last year our kitchens and kit traveled an amazing 220,000 km!
G is for Graysons Catering…
For the past 3 years, we have been working successfully with Graysons at the South of England Agricultural Show. Graysons take care of eight of the hospitality areas across the show that welcomes over 70,000 people across the 3 days. Graysons haven’t got the equipment to be able to pull off a large event like SOEAS and we provided over 100 items of kit to support the different hospitality areas. Watch our video case study!
H is for Hotelympia…
We had a LOT of fun at the Hotelympia show in London this Feb, in part because we showed off some of our kitchen designs in stunning VR! We were bowled over by the interest in our products over the four day event.
I is for International…
Our International Kitchens division have had a particularly successful 2018, with the Commonwealth Games, sales to Nigeria, Valencia, Falkland Islands and St Tropez among others! Find out more about our international solutions here.
