The South of England Show is now more than 50 years old, and has built a fantastic reputation over five decades. An event for all of the family, it features livestock, equestrian races, educational events and a host of commercial and community exhibitors. The event is made possible by a loyal team of volunteers who make it possible.

PKL has developed a strong relationship with the South of England Agricultural Society since 2002, supplying kitchens and pot-washes for the show.

With more than 60,000 visitors throughout the week, and 500 volunteers to feed, the PKL-supplied kitchens are in constant use for five days. The kitchens, in three different areas of the large Ardingly showground site, help provide a wide-range of food styles.

Working with two caterers, PKL handled all elements of the kitchen install, from design to project management and technical support.

Iain Nicol, CEO of the show and the South of England Agricultural Society, said working with PKL gave him peace of mind and his caterers exactly what they needed.

“Catering is a massive part of our event and especially feeding our dedicated army of volunteers,” he said.
