The Hire Process

Questions about temporary kitchen and catering equipment hire.

A: Due to the bespoke nature of the jobs that we undertake, no two are the same due to the type of equipment, number of units and length of time that people would like to hire for. Therefore, we would rather discuss your exact requirements in order to provide a more realistic price to you. Our quoting system takes into consideration add on services such as delivery, installation requirements and any power supplies to be included. There are many other factors that also need to be taken into consideration when quoting your hire such as the time of year, length of hire and the amount of equipment required.

A: We aim to produce a competitive quotation on the same day as an enquiry is received. However, for more complex hires we may only be able to give a ball-park figure until more information about the proposed job is known.

A: Yes. We have a specialist CAD drawing department which is dedicated to planning the temporary kitchen and catering equipment hire projects. Our CAD team can provide you with general arrangement, services arrangements and foundation drawings if required. In addition, if required we can also provide you with 3D models of your proposed temporary kitchen facility.

A: We have a fleet planning department that controls our entire stock of 10,000 items of catering equipment and our temporary kitchen units. If you wish to extend your hire, this department will organise everything from checking the availability of equipment and organising the contract extension length that you require.

A: You can hire the equipment for one day or just a few hours. There is a minimum hire charge, which equates to four days hire, but the time the equipment is on site is up to you. We have no maximum hire period.

A: We do not supply any ancillaries, however we work very closely with Well Dressed Tables who is a specialist provider of crockery, cutlery, glassware and furniture for hire. If you would like to add these types of items to your hire, we are happy to arrange this through Well Dressed Table, so that you remain with one point of contact for your hire. We do not supply staff with our kitchens, however we do work alongside many caterers involved in lots of different industries and would be able to help you find someone who best suits your needs.
