Installation

PKL employs fully trained, Gas Safe Registered engineers that are available to install, commission and provide staff training for you. Along with this, we can also provide installation of water and waste with prior agreement. If the equipment is gas and is hired as stand alone equipment, then PKL provide raised, modular, free-standing manifolds which are positioned at the rear of the equipment and can be linked to propane cylinders in a gas cage or bulk gas tank. Our Gas Safe registered engineers can link multiple items of equipment in this manner safely and efficiently, to create a hazard free environment.

A: Either you or PKL can install the temporary kitchens or catering equipment. If you are doing it however, we would recommend that you use a suitably qualified engineer to do so.

All of our engineers are Gas Safe registered and trained. On confirmation of hire, all service details are made available so that services required on site can be properly planned prior to the equipment arriving there.

Once the Portable Kitchen is fully fitted and providing all necessary services are ready for connection, you could be cooking in less than 60 minutes (although this does depend on the number of units being delivered to site, and the ease of access!).

A: Yes. Our portable kitchens are designed for sites with no services. If you plan to locate the temporary kitchen on a Greenfield site, we can organise freshwater tanks, waste tanks, LPG supplies and generators.

You will need to let us know the location that the kitchen is being sited on prior to the delivery, as more difficult or remote sites may require the organisation of trackway or a crane to ensure that we can get the kitchen to your desired location.
