Tented Kitchen Systems

Tented kitchen and camp solutions from PKL Group

Tented systems offer great value for money and are easily transportable and relocatable.

While not as robust or long lasting as the containerised system, their low cost and portability make them ideal for many situations, including dining rooms and stores.

Tented systems are often packed in ISO containers along with all catering and ancillary equipment, enabling speedy erection once the units are marshalled at the final location.

Tented kitchens work well as stand-alone self contained facilities or as a means of providing complementary accommodation for containerised or Portable Kitchen facilities.

Two types of tented system are offered:

  • Steel frames traditional fabric / softwall
  • Inflatable

The inflatable system has distinct benefits including speed of erection with minimal labour and extremely high insulation values.

The tent, once erected, can be fitted out with mobile canopies, foodservice equipment and service distribution systems. This can be up and running as a fully functioning kitchen very quickly.

Tented solutions have been specified by military and peacekeeping forces, NGOs and emergency aid organisations at disaster relief sites.
