Portable Kitchen and dining for army barracks in Germany
PKL supplied temporary catering facilities to feed 500 men during 42 months of the planned refurbishment of two kitchens and dining halls at York and Oxford Barracks, Munster. The turnkey package we supplied included design, installation and maintenance of a 500 man Portable Kitchen with a dining hall for 250.
The key feature of the project was the requirement for relocation of catering facilities from York Barracks to Oxford Barracks after 28 days. The PKL project management team achieved this while at the same time providing all lead up services, foundations and site works.
This facility and all catering equipment was supplied to MoD design scales and included hot kitchen, temperature controlled preparation areas, refrigeration, warewashing and full servery.
