Between them, the PKL Group management and senior operations team has over 100 years' experience of working for the company. The PKL Group management team's profiles are summarised below.

Executive Directors

Managing Director: Chris Irving

Chris joined PKL in 2004 and is an Ex-Infantry Major Instructor at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Chris was previously the Operations Director at PKL before being appointed to the position of Managing Director at the start of 2010.

Commercial Director: Peter Schad

Peter has been with PKL since 1988 and is responsible for delivery of our major sporting event projects.  Peter has overseen a wide range of projects during his time at PKL, including the supply of temporary kitchen and dining facilities at the Olympic Games in Sydney, Athens, Beijing and Vancouver, the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne and Manchester and the Asian Games in Doha.

Sales and Marketing Director: Lee Vines

Lee has 10 years' experience working for PKL and is responsible for the UK Sales and Hire and all marketing activities. Lee has a large amount of experience having worked within the foodservice industry for the past 16 years. Lee previously held the position of Sales and Marketing Director at ServEquip.

Financial Director: Tim Colchester

Tim Joined PKL in 2005 and is responsible for the company's financial operations. A qualified accountant since 1997, Tim is also the company secretary and was the financial controller at Dennis Eagle Ltd before joining PKL. Tim has also held senior finance positions at AGA Foodservice and Landrover.

Non-Executive Directors

Chairman: Michael Bailey

A Chartered Accountant with over 25 years board level financial and management leadership experience in the SQC/SME arenas, Michael has been helping PKL since 2005 and was appointed Non-executive Chairman in January 2010. He was formerly Group Finance Director of Rok plc (1989-2003), where he helped achieve a major transformation in the size and prosperity of the group, and has since been a Non-executive Director or Chairman of a number of companies including Pearce Holdings Ltd, which was taken over by Interior Services Group plc in November 2007.

Non-Executive Director: Peter Joy

Peter was the founder of the PKL business in 1985. While still retaining close contact with other members of the Board, Peter is not involved in day-to-day management but takes an active role in board discussions on corporate finance and other strategic matters.
