Temporary catering solutions for military forces

PKL has supplied a number of different temporary and permanent solutions to the Military Forces, both in the UK and throughout the world. Our solutions range from temporary kitchens onsite during times of barracks refurbishments to military field kitchens to full-scale army camp facilities.

We have worked with the MoD in Saudi Arabia, Gibraltar, Belize, Falkland Islands, Sierra Leon, Kuwait, Germany, the Middle East and Ireland.

Our projects include:

• Installation of military field kitchens on a flight deck of HMS Ark Royal, an aircraft carrier  
• Provision of 26-unit catering facilities to the RAF for a banquet attended by the Queen
• Supply of containerised kitchens for 36 months during the refurbishment of two 500 man MoD barracks, which had to be relocated during the hire
• Delivery and installation of containerised kitchens, coldrooms and laundries for 5,000 troops supplied within 16 weeks from date of order
• Supply of kitchen and dining facilities to missile battery site in a mountainous region, where PKL kitchens were transported and positioned by Chinook helicopter
