Temporary catering solutions for energy and construction companies
PKL has completed a vast amount of projects in remote sites for oil exploration, construction and utilities companies both in the UK and abroad.
Construction Site Catering
We have provided a wide variety of solutions to construction companies ranging from a small kitchen with a hatch for onsite catering, to a large-scale temporary kitchen and dining facility feeding a work force of 100s at a time. We have also provided welfare and office facilities that which can be linked to our temporary kitchen and dining units.
In addition we can supply standalone items of catering equipment such as microwaves and beverage boilers, where facilities onsite already exist.
Oil Exploration Companies
We have provided temporary kitchen solutions both for off-shore rigs and at petrochemical refineries where catering facilities have been closed due to a planned refurbishment or emergency shutdown. Where a self-sufficient facility is required, we can supply water and waste tanks, pump sets and power generators. In addition we have supplied facilities for exploration camps in countries such as Nigeria.
Temporary Kitchens for Utilities Companies
We have supplied both directly to utilities companies as well as contract caterers working on site, to cover planned outage periods or where kitchens have been closed during an emergency.
Health and Safety Onsite
We provide a wide range of Risk Assessments and Method Statements, which are often a necessity when working within these sectors where health and safety is of paramount importance.
In addition, we are OHSAS18001, CHAS and SAFEcontractor accredited, while we also hold a Gold Level CSCS Certificate.
