All of the extraction systems within PKL Portable Kitchens have been upgraded and undergo continuous testing before every hire to ensure compliance with the latest BS7967 standard for carbon monoxide emissions.

The test that is undertaken before every hire, identifies the combustion performance of gas fired appliances by measuring the carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide levels preset in the flue gases and ensures that emissions from gas fired appliances within our Portable Kitchens do not exceed a certain level.

Although each of our units is tested by qualified staff at PKL before every hire, all of our kitchens are supplied with carbon monoxide detectors as an extra safety precaution.
